BlueBat overlay before and after pics - tails and valence
tossed on my BlueBat taillight and rear valence overlays this past weekend.
i underestimated the difficulty of this install - i for sure have a new found respect for guys that do tint and overlays for a living....it's no joke!
once i got the hang of it though and figured out the best method, it went pretty smooth and my results got better each time. i highly recommend Blue's product.

lol no doubt man. i planned for like an hour - was prob out there for 3 - 4 hours.
the valence went on like butter - super easy. but, i was pretty much cussing Blue about 10 min into the first taillight.
finally realized that i just had to heat the shat out of them with the hair dryer. heat is your friend with these things!
i got in the rhythm and finally got the first on done with several creases and bubbles. but the second one i did is near perfect.
all about the experience though...had fun and learned to do something new. can't go wrong with that in my book.

Agreed. I just put on the rear valence overlay and I did a horrible job. By the end of it, I just got fed up and hit it with the heatgun. There's still a ton of bubbles but it looks better than the huge scratch that was there from the previous owner.
I'm split on the gtr overlay. It looks pretty aggressive, but the stock 06 tails look so good already. Will have to see in person on IP to decide to do it or not for my car. I'll also take it to a tint shop to have it installed to save myself the agony.
