Really like seeing someone try something different.

You could have got gold volks, put on a greddy front and kenstyle rear, but you tried something new. Props man

The car looks great. Where did you get the fenders from? Very aggressive.

Not a fan of the fender flares. Also, whats up with the bolts sticking so far out like that with wing nuts? Is that a JDM thing too? Not being an @ss, im seriously asking the question.

One last thing... I absolutely HATE that it took me reading 13 pages of "blah blah" to find out what lip that is! Lol! I like it quite a bit.

This is an epic fail. None of this is even remotely close to JDM, AND, the new additions make it even worse. You can buy actual winglets (from companies in japan); you can purchase proper canards; and the whole tattoo on the bumper is about as ghey as the fender flares. Did you even cut the original fenders back when you were adding the new flares on?

This car is nothing remotely resembling what is "JDM". Maybe you should have kept your 240sx and performed these same mods on that. Then maybe, it would give an appearance that you are at least trying to be JDM...

What the f*** has happened to this site? I came over from my350z to find out more info on jdmjames G and after reading through the thread I can definitley say that this site has gone downhill quick. Opinions are more than welcome on car forums, afterall thats what members are subject to when displaying there car on a public forum for everyone to see. But for all the haters, learn how to express your negativity in a constructive way instead of acting like ******.

Everyone is a bada$$ on the internet... your not impressing anyone by claiming youll drive 2,000 miles to go e-thug another member. Get a life.

Its annoying to see a new member introduce himself and his ride, only for a bunch of tools to bash his thread with there banter. Keep it up guys, and this site will be full of D-Bags in no time.

Anyways, my rant is done. The G looks dope brotha. Lots of members on my350z were intersted in your set-up. Im sure you listed the make of your fender flares somewhere in the madness but I lost focus after the 13th page of banter... care to mention it again ?

I plan to run some similar fender flares on my Z if possible. My plan is to mold them in though.

Cheers

This is the type of bull$hit im talking about.

Attention Everyone: You must now consult SDGeneralCounsel before claiming JDM status !! He is the end-all be-all of JDMness and will let you know if you qualify !!

Who says his G is not inspired by JDM, you ?? Clealry he stated that he lived in Japan where certain styles have influence to Mod his car in this particular way.
Poeple have different perceptions of what might be JDM. But the japanese car scene has always been about creating new trends (ahead of there time)and thats exactley what jdmjames has done here. Whether you like it or not is irrelavent. You dont think he knows that he can purchase canards somewhere..? Any tool can drop 2k plus on a "JDM" part and fit into your cookie cutter expectations. It takes creative thinking and new inspirations to set yourself apart from the masses. At one point in time, crazy low offsets like +0 on 19x11 rear wheels were out of the question. It took individuals with ***** and new visions to run something totally aggressive. Thats where you got your now cookie cutter Volk 9.5 f 10.5 r set-up. And why the eff does he need to have a 240 to be JDM

And regarding your question on whether or not he even cut the fenders. He is running 18x12 J LInes in the rear. You tell me...

Your G35 is well done. But homeboy, its automatic. If you ask me, every cent spent on your car is a waste.

Now I find myself adding to the banter of this thread. Its pointless to even try to set some of you straight.

Cool. Someone buys carbon fiber fenders, rear valence on a car that doesn't need it, a leather shift boot for an automatic and a racing steering wheel for a luxury coupe and he is making fun of jdmjames.

Cool indeed.

I'm sure you know JDM better than anyone here since you have the above. I'm also sure that your street racing video you posted on your cardomain of you racing a red supra gets you some serious credibility along with your opinion.

You're a child. Post your opinions, not your insults.

Hat's off to you for beating a supra. Seeing as how stock for stock the supra wouldn't win by anything spectacular.

I'm sure the rest of the convoy you had up there had a kick, but it's JDM people like you that gets me pulled over for no reason.

I would also like to comment on the craftsmanship comment you made towards JDMjames. I'm not whole heartily defending the man, but your response was particularly rather crude and stupid.

You say there are "ready made" parts like the splitters he has. Did you ever ask yourself, or experience yourself for that matter, what it feels like to create something yourself?

I'm not going to make any further assumptions that the one I'm making now, and that assumption is, 'How much of your car did you actually build?' I'm sure many people here can talk about cars, specs and what they push out. But I see very few that can say they built it.
