use goo gone and detailing the trunk doesnt hurt either to get rid of whats left after debadge

^i think hes having trouble with ghosting,not the actual adheasive,imo id just keep buffing..maybe try some light compound then a buffer ball and some polish..or you may try a clay bar then polish

^^oh for that, then just bust out the porter cable.. and detail it right and should work

thank you for the suggestion, guys.

I've tried light compunds and porter cables already..
It got way lighter, but still there.
I'll be buying a new trunk soon anyway.

^^ did you properly wash it then use the sealents, wax's and such?

yes, I have.
I was not doing it by myself, a good friend of mine helped me with that.. He works at a detailing shop, and is one of the best detailers I know.
my car is an 05 G coupe, and the paint is just regressed a bit.

^^oh damn man.. cus i just debadged and i still have very light ghosting, its not noticeble unless you look up close

Honestly, not sure if it can be called a Bug.. It was more like a werewolf sized big fvcking thing that bit me..
and it started.

did u try wetsanding the area and then buffing it out or did u just go straight to buffing? it should come out after wetsanding the area. it worked for me on cars that ive debadged..

well, my cats are still yet to get installed.. very well possible, it will happen this weekend..
next week, should have my CF stuff installed back on.
here is what we have so far...

blacked out headlights.
Blacked out turn signal.




blacked out tail lights.




braces and sways bars are in as well

Holy rusted exhaust batman....other than that, looks pretty sweet. Not a big fan of black rims with polished lips though. But thats just my opinion. If you like it, rock it!!
