GOLD GT-30 Wheels on Serengeti Sand G?

Does anyone have this setup?

I have been looking for the perfect wheel to compliment this god forsaken color.

I ran across the wheel by accident yesterday and was instantly sprung.

If anyone has any pictures of this setup, I will be forever grateful.

You know, I was thinking about getting these exact wheels for my SS G.... Photoshopped the vsxx wheels...

But, I settled for somethng more conservative, for now...

There you are! It was your picture that I saw in the gallery!

Thanks for putting the wheel's name in your description, I'm in love man....

If at ANY point you get tired of those wheels and want to sell them, PLEASE KEEP ME IN MIND. How much did you get them for (ball park if you dont want to give exact $).

Oh and thank the poster below for the pics w/ the photoshopped wheels, I like those also! I know for sure I want to keep a chrome lip to accentuate the chrome trimming around the doors and also the Mt. Fugi emblem, but for the spokes I wanted something that would work with the SSM color itself.

Question:

About the gold color, in some pictures the wheel looks like a deep darker gold, and in others it looks more like a lighter gold (like your picture).

Would you say it's darker or more "faded"? I'm hoping it's more faded so the rims aren't way darker than the paint.

Thanks everyone for your input, it's much appreciated.

And I just found out that everything35.com's building is like 10 minutes away from where I live. Wohoo!

I've never seen a gold wheel on SS. Then again, there are very few modded SS's to begin with. The gold finish on some Volk wheels like the GT-30, SF-Challenge, LE37, etc... is a lighter/paler shade of gold. Looks really good imo b/c at some angles and certain lighting it looks more silver, while other times it looks more gold.

Right on, that is exactly the input I needed. Now if you'd just give me your supercharger, all would be right with the world.

Thanks again everyone, hopefully this will help the next SSM guy out there.

Agreed. I'm feeling inspired to take this car a little further than I intended.

TTrank, did you get your V1 locally?

With these *awesome* cameras posted everywhere, I need a detector... bad.

Not to get way off track, but for all of my tuning needs, would you suggest UMS and only UMS? None of my co-workers here seem to be car enthusiasts, it's really awesome. At least now the track isn't 2 hours in either direction.
