Na, luckily there was no frame damage. I got the detailed estimate today:

front bumper (complete assembly)
grille,
driver side lamp,
hood hinges and latch,
radiator,
ac condenser % refrig. recovery,
front fender (complete)
front inner structure (various items)
wheel,
front suspension (complete)
engine under cover,
windshield pillar garnish,
dash cowl,
rocker moulding,
left door (various)

^those are basically all the parts paraphrased.

damnnn you okay? That kind of damage is around 15k starting alone. I had a similar situation like that before, but it was on the passenger side. Good luck

You should fight and try to get it totaled. Repaired cars loose market value and will never be 100% right ever again.

I had an accident back in Feb. My damage wasnt nearly as bad as yours and they totalled it out. They cut me a check for 22k.

Do not let them fix it, fight them and make them total it.

My accident.

Sorry to see that happen to you. Glad to hear that you weren't hurt, and that the drunk woman was insured and rightfully taken to jail.

There's no frame damage on mine though, and air bags didn't deploy. I see your airbags went off and there might be more damage to the engine at least since it was head on?

I went to grab a copy of the police report today and swung by the body shop since its close to the Hall of Justice. They've already started working on it, waiting on certain parts now. Basically just have it gutted on the front side, looks a lot better though already. I miss it

Here's a link to mine. Its similar to yours, but its on the passenger side. They might not total out your car. GL

Na, mine didn't get totaled, but 10,5 in damages. No airbags went off, is that your side air bag in the window? Looks like you got more damaged than me, luckily both me and the other driver weren't going that fast.

That was the estimate right? The estimate is always lower than the actual cost to fix the car. Mine was also estimated around 10k. After getting it fixed, it was around 15k alone for that corner. My gf and me were at a full stop when that happened. Yeah my airbag deployed. Thank God no one got hurt. Your's didn't go off? That's weird, they should've from the way it looks. Have you found a good shop to get your car fixed? Be careful with body shops. I had so many problems after I got mine back. Finally got mine the way it should be after how many months.

Are you going to get anything aftermarket since it'll be in the shop?

Endless, na no aftermarket parts. But this lit a fire under my *** to get some engine work done as soon as its out (MRev2 and spacers). It's at one of the best body shops in SF, I'm very confident. I was able to choose whoever I wanted it to go to and did my research.
