Have to agree, the stripe looks awkward. I would either (preferably) take it off altogether, or make it thinner and then paint the calipers red.

buddy painted his honda (of course) with cans, looks horrible, theres like paint marks on the wheels/tires.
I have to agree with what everyone else said about the stripe. Although I've never been a fan of painted OEM's on a luxury car. Maybe on a civic, but not an infiniti.

ok, +1 on what everyone said... and you shoulda painted/powdercoated the calipers while they were OFF the car
but to make this more positive, what color are you thinking of going with the caliper?
OR the brembo gold might work better if you made the rims completely gunmetal... Even if the red line was thinner, it might not go so well with the gold calipers

EDIT: Just saw the for sale thread for the lugs and realized that you have a nice hood - yeah, if you get rid of the red, everything should look much better.
