Serious Ouch!!! thats just upseting to look at.

I doubt Insurance will cover something like that. its not like someone hit him.. its user error basically.

Let us know what the $ damage come to

just came across this, sad to see this happen, but let that be a lesson to you and anyone else. non-hubcentric spacers and oem length wheel studs will get you in trouble. Best bet is to upgrade to 10mm bolt-on style hubcentric spacers because they come pre-studed and do not require you to replace your OEM studs. Like Joker keeps saying, lug nuts should not have anything to do with it other than they were not able to properly engage the correct amount threads on the studs, which is a problem cause by the spacers.

If the lugs were in bad shape upon install you "friend" should have not put them on and you should have waited until everything was done correctly.

Good luck with the fix.
