well, i'm finally at the point where i am willing to post pics of my ride. it has been raining here a lot lately and we actually had some snow this morning. so please forgive the messy ride. i'll give a brief explanation of some of things i've done. i've always liked mesh grills so i went with the street scene grills. i took the emblem off of my old grill, cut it out, and smacked it back on to my grill. i bought some 06 head lights, replaced the clearance and parking lights with LED's. i got some eyelids for the light. put a string of LED's on the bottom of grills. powder coated my wheels black. painted my calipers red... i chose red to match my tail lights since i would probably get pulled over for tinting them. bought some decals for the calipers. and debadged the rear except for the mt. fuji. i wish i could have cleaned my ride prior to these pics but it's getting too cold to wash the car right now and i wanted to share with you guys my ride. hope you likey.

I'm not a fan of the grille, the light strips, and the red calipers.

i think its too much LED for the front. i like ur eyelids.

tacky billet grilles, attention ***** stock calipers, fugly eyelids. just my honest opinion.

go back to the stock grille or pick up one of ionic's grilles (lose the lower ones while you're at it), paint the calipers silver, and get ionic's eyelids for a much improved look.

wow, i think i made a bad mistake modding my car and posting pics.

 

as long as you like it, thats all that matters.

 

Its just the front end is screaming look at me. While everything else is somewhat stock, the front is shining and blinging with chrome grills and led's. As for the eyelids, they just dont flow with the car.

 

Its your car, do what u like. But don't expect everyone to like your car when you post pictures. There are lots opinionated a**holes on the forum and you're not gonna please them.

 

The LEDs at the bottom are a hit and miss, I like where you were going with them although I think their are too many. if you shortned them a lil, say like O hello OEM did, they would look better. 06-07 headlights are always a good upgrade!

 

dont ever be afraid to post what you feel is an upgrade to your car, just keep in mind that not everyone on here will like it or be subtle about how they tell you they dont like it! Who knows maybe youll think of something that noone else on here has and it will be the new thing to do!!!!

 

id say get shorter led strips and put back the OEM grill or Emblemless and lower mesh
and like calvin said get the ionics eyelids

Honestly though, were the eyelids something you put on and said "Oh man that looks so sick"? Or was it something you did just to "do" to you car?

Sometimes more isn't better. Take your time and do tasteful mods. The 06 headlights are nice though!

 

Different people have different taste. But honestly, I would feel a little embarrass driving around with Christmas lights on. lol

Not feeling the billet grills and eyelids either.
