G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
I don't normally spend a lot of money on 1 mod as there are so many things I want to do to my car. I think I'm going to splurge this summer as I am currently pooling my mod money together for a Hikkata Dori trunk. They are fvcking gorgeous on the sedan.
So if you count my engine bay as 1 mod my top three would be:
coupe wheels/tires-$600
3.5 diff swap-$325 I think everyone knows what that looks like.
engine bay dress up-somewhere around $800 for all that you see. That also includes a MD 5/16" spacer.

Thanks man. I had an opportunity to get a chromed plenum and I'm glad I did. I have a polished TB and cam covers that look great but the plenum really pops.
I need to quit spending money on the bay or I'll never accumulate enough to get the trunk I want. (and powdercoat my wheels, and swap out for coupe seats, and get Osiris, and so on and so on)
I do have S techs and Z shocks on the way so I'll be dropped even more in a couple of weeks.

nice sounds like your G is headed for greatness lol
i say finish one part of the car and then move on.. its nice to see things getting done bit by bit but when you finish up the bay and then do the trunk and then powdercoat the wheels or get new wheels.. it will all come together.. and BAM!!! instant WIN! hahaha

My car is a money pit...but I will play along...
1. APS Extreme Twin Turbo Kit - $9,000 + tax
2. Cosworth built Low Comp VQ35DE (balanced and blueprinted) - $8500 + tax
3. There is an 8 way tie for the number 3 spot...so I will leave it to just a top 2.

You get what you pay for...thats how I built my G. I did not skimp on anything, and the outcome is flawless...no issues with my car whatsoever...runs solid and strong!

Hahaha! Thanks dude! Well its not a daily driver anymore...so it should considerably longer. But its just like anything else...routine maint and keeping an eye on things should keep the motor healthy for a long time. The car sits in the garage more than anything now...I only drive it once or twice a week at most. Its also far beyond street legal...and cops in Cali have a hard on for cars like mine hahaha!!!
