first of all, u need to lower that thing...second of all, get sum spacers...but overall, your ideas will work fine..do whatever u orignally had planned..it's your style but just add those 2 things to the equation and you'll be good..

Put a very light tint on the tails as well. That would give just a little contrast in the paint and the tails.
