New Photos: 350z S-Tech Springs

Here's some update pictures of my car. Changed my springs from 350z H-techs to 350z S-Techs. Also got an alignment for $50.

I got a bit more camber than I wanted but my toe is exactly at Zero.

If anyone wants cheap installs let me know. Joe @ Allison Motor's does cheap installs and just about anything else. Including alignments, fender rolling, you name it. Same person that does Monard stuff. Also i think Fab got his Art test pipes installed and rear coils adjusted for $40.

For toe, you say you got it at 0, but dont you want it to be mid range?

The range is 0.00 - 0.22 degrees to be in spec. But having toe close to zero saves your tires.

I thought that too, but I told the alignment place to align the car for least ware, and they said Mid range is the best. for Camber and Toe according to OE Specs to save tire. If you got your car aligned at 0 toe, when you drive the toe will change due to drag of the tires, change in ride height..ect

hm

^ Yea I do scrape time to time. If you're not a cautious driver than I recommend keeping your Nismo. There have been times where I considered going with the NISMO front and just slamming my car. But depends on you I guess cuz it does get annoying esp cuz my GF hates how I drive and angle everything and slow almost to a stop on some dips. Haha

Most alignment places will just get your camber, toe, and caster all within spec without looking at symmetry. You might have a Left rear -1.8 chamber w/ 0.10 toe and a Right rear with -1.0 w/ 0.20 toe and that is all considered within spec. Personally I like it when both sides have very close numbers (symmetry). Also I like to sit in the car while they do the alignments cuz most of the time I drive by myself. But for me I think the Toe kills tires faster than camber does..

But your shop is probably right about having mid range numbers with regular cars. Cuz once your toe is Zero your camber is messed up. Camber causes the inner wear. But since I am lowered it's HARD to zero out the toe and have good camber. I just stuck with having a Zero toe. I think its personal preference.
