I would be heated if the owner of the shop said that to me. Just because you consent to even pics which you dont remember him saying, doesnt mean they get to drive your car to some random spot to do a photoshoot. Thats some shady shizzznit. What if he crashed your car into someone else? Then he has the ***** to tell you 7k for a custom job i would be like discount?

I honestly don't see what the big deal is about them taking it out. As long as they didn't go hundreds of miles. No different than taking it to the dealership and them driving it after service...whatever. Looks good though.

 

^+1, as long as the gas gauge was right where u left it. Heck he got a $120 car detail for free and quality pics. Bodyshops love to take pics of their work, maybe they wanted a nicer background to compliment the car more. If the location where they took the shots is real close to the shops is no big deal. Now if they drove over 20 min to get there that's different

 

Depending on what service you took your car in for, you'd expect the dealership to go for a short test drive. I don't think Jayk minds the detail job and photoshoot, but rather the fact that they took his car to some unknown place without his permission. Taking some pics inside or outside the body shop to show off their work would've been just fine, but that's not what happened.

And knowing in person how nice Jayk's car is with all his mods, I seriously doubt they didn't have their fun with it.
