Vossen VVS-CV2 Review (A lot of pics)
#67
Hey guys, as some of you know, I had a photoshoot with Vossen Wheels to promote their newest wheel named the VVS-CV2. These wheels are concave and sleek! I personally find them to be a very clean looking wheel but maintains an aggressive look. I went to pick the wheels up and Vossen and was very well taken care of by their friendly staff. They gave me a tour of the warehouse and offices which were impressive to say the least. Well, I picked up these bad boys and decided to make a full review of the unpacking and quality from my point of view. I hope you enjoy the photos from my point-n-shoot. I tried to capture them the best I could
Hopefully the pictures did the wheels justice.
Well, lets start from the unboxing till' the end. There was a cardboard layer that I felt did it's job which is protecting the lip and rim itself. After getting that out of the way the rims is covered by a net to further protect the rim from dust, etc. The centercap and valve stem both wrapped as you guys saw. The CC has some nice weight to it. Definitely a quality piece imo.
The lip has a very nice stainless steel finish and the wheel itself was beautiful with the matte silver color I chose. The Vossen engravment in bottom of the spoke is a nice touch also. Simple, but a nice touch. From picking each wheel up i'd guesstimate that the fronts weigh anywhere from 25-30lbs and the rears 27-35lbs? Not sure. I'll look further into that. I realized that each wheel has been inspected and labeled with a number a are all JWL and VIA registered. The front wheels are concave but a very slight dip to the center bore. The rears dip is about 2-2½ to the center bore. This is from my perspective.
Overall, I find these wheels to be a great looking and quality wheel. I have gotten nothing but compliments from these wheels. The craftsmanship is top notch and priced fairly amongst other quality wheels. I can say that my only gripe was getting the centercaps on. They were very hard to get on, but once I put them on, I know those suckers aren't going anywhere lol. These are a great pickup for anyone that likes the concave look at an affordable price.
I hope you guys enjoyed the review, If you have any questions, feel free to post them up. Thanks for looking
