I've gone through 3 Chicago winters with the coupe and I haven't really had any problems. Keep VDC on, get snow tires, and drive smart. Follow those 3 steps and you'd be fine.

Holy crap some of these look crazy! When the big storm hit in the north east last weekend I was lucky enough to have my car in the garage And the funny thing about that is that it was the first time I have ever had it in the garage. I will let you know how things go when I head up to Syracuse next year (they currently have over 75 inches)

With you right there. Been through 2 Chicago winters, no problems.
