i can easily get my money back and then some if i were to sell the OEM hood and trunk with spoiler. THEN i would invest in a full body kit, not just the front bumper. i could get it now but no money to paint it, and i'm not the one who drives around in a half painted primered up car. i already have the kit and color in mind that would make the car "flow". ya'll just got to have faith. im gonna be getting the JDM CF trunk(wingless) once i come back from deployment(sorta like an interchangable thing, if i **** too many people off in texas with my california driving, i can "transform" my car haha) along with my procharger

Not a huge fan of the current set-up... but to each his own, it's a process as long as you have a plan.

where do you live in TX?

Everyone has a different approach to modding cars. I personally would not have chosen the hood and not a fan of carbon fiber accessories.

Some like to spend alot on exterior mods, some on engine mods. I'm a detail freak and have spent alot of time and money on chassis and engine detail/performance.

I would choose the Vortech over Procharger.

The rest of the car can be saved.

I'm not gonna pile on because I dislike carbon fiber in general. Not just on this car, but pretty much any car ever excluding OEM carbon fiber; ex GT-R, Audi R8 etc.

What I would like to add is that having a plan for modding does alleviate some of the spontaneity that could occur in the absence of a plan. Not sure if any of that made sense, but take care during your deployment and good luck with your future mods.

Oh hey hey! If you like it, than that is truly all that matters. People are going to be hating, but then just put on your shades and be like "uMad bro?". I mean, yeah, I don't like it, but that's what forums are for. Sharing thoughts. Again, if you're diggin' it, then keep on rockin' it!

Quote: Audi R8 etc.
You do realize that it is an option to get carbon fiber on an R8, right? It isn't "OEM carbon fiber."

It's like an extra $3000 for that option.

Yes, I realize it's an option. Actually saw one on the highway Saturday without the carbon fiber going along the side of the door and it looked very weird.

With that being said, option or not, it is an option provided by Audi no? Navigation systems for the Gs were $2000 options too IIRC? Does that make them not OEM?

Good point. No need to further comment, I see what you were trying to say.
