Thanks for the replies everybody. I was using the 3mm individual LED's but they kept burning out. I was hoping the strip LED would be a good replacement but a lot of the feedback here seems to think that it would burn out too. Gonna have to give this some thought now.

^I actually ran those strips for several months w/o issue, and they still work. They'll most likely last quite a long time. The problem I had with them is that they just aren't very bright.

 

tuck them inside the instrument panel or under the seat and use them as foot lights (like the BMWs)..

hook them up to your domelight fuse
