dunstopnow's Progression Thread :)

Finally decided to actually take the time and write up an up to date progression thread.
I've been addicted to reading progression threads, and I love to see how people have changed their cars over time. Looking at Hellaflush and Stancenation makes me jealous. I told myself I want in, so I've been devoting every single paycheck to mod my car. I want my car to be heavily modded before I get out of highschool.
Background Info: I drove the family car that we've kept since 1997 in Kansas (We drove this baby to California), A 1997 Nissan Quest . After months of searching for cars on craigslist (November 2011 - June 2012), I finally found this 5AT 2005 Lakeshore Slate G35 Coupe for sale. Stalked and Copped. It only had 45k miles and we got it for $13k.
Miles (Updated 1/2/13) : 51,445

First order of business was to Darth Vader the car (Turn all the light colors dark). I bought Black side markers (Ebay), painted the headlight housing black, and blacked out my grill. Also got a Stillen Z-tube.

Decided to get the reflecting black side markers instead of the clear (Again from Ebay). And went Matte black on the grill instead of Gloss.

This is the part when I start the heavy modding.
Actually started to save my paychecks (working part time because of school), and bought an M2 Exhaust (HKS Replica). I fell in LOVE once I laid it all out and stared at it.

Exhaust has some leaks, still does; but it doesn't bother me. I'll fix it once I start caring.
Got around to buying the JWT pop charger, and also an Ebay Neochrome Oil cap.

Got dyno'd with these mods on a Dynocom DC-15000 we have at my work.

The A/F was not set. The RPM sensor fell, so the torque was messed up on the third run. Numbers looked low, don't know the reason.

Got a fat paycheck and decided to save another to get these bad boys.

Stance GR+ coilovers from THMotorsports.
Got them installed and maxed out the rear. Anna rides low. I have to raise her 0.5" to get through the school parking lot . Scraped everywhere that day.

So... I found out why my numbers looked so low on the dyno run. The computer wasn't calibrated right.

Washed
I was trying out some Burning Blue SR48 Lug nuts. I didn't like the open end.

Bought those SR48's cause my Lug nut got cross threaded
Bought B2Designs' 20mm and 25mm spacers. The spacers are top-notch quality. They're beautiful.

Did you tune the car or just dyno it? Numbers are pretty much right on for a stock automatic. Add an intake spacer, high flow cats and Uprev, then you'll make some decent power. I hope you put the front bumper back on.

Haha yeah my front bumper is on. Intake spacer is coming in after I get some rims. The car has no tune, so it was dyno'd as is.

Save more money and stay away from eBay. The real stuff pays off in the long run and is proven. Looks good low. What does that huge sticker say?

I only go to Ebay for the not important stuff haha. The huge sticker says "ELUSIVE", which is my older brother's clothing company. Everyone should check him out!

It was just the hanger on the passenger side, and I have some exhaust leaks. Needs new gaskets and retightened. Other than that, everything fits great.

Did you have the hanger re welded in a different position or what did you do with it and is the exhaust loud inside the car?

The exhaust is really loud in the car. It's not annoying to me (bearable). I think the mechanic (I had it installed prof.) did some weld bends. He didn't completely relocate the hanger.
