Hey guys, after waiting for about two weeks I finally installed my 350z H&R springs model 53050. They are supposed to drop the 350z 1.3f and 1.1r which means that they will drop the G 1.8f and 1.5r. I took measurements before I installed them and according to my measurements it dropped the front 1.5 and the rear .5. I'm a bit confused why it only dropped the rear .5 inches. The front should also be a little lower. I doubt the H&R springs will settle. I doubt I could have installed them upside down because I believe they only fit one way. Anyways if anyone knows any suggestions to this issue I would love to hear it. Here are the pics.

Give it some time all springs will settle over a couple weeks of good driving

I hope so because I'm a bit unhappy with the rear.Originally Posted by xXHotelCrazyXx

Looking good. I think theres a diy on here where you cut down on the rear spring boot/rubber thing to get it lower in the rear.

Thanks.Yeah, I know about that but the H&R springs that I used should lower the rear 1.5 without cutting the spring mount. According to my measurements it only lowered .5 . It lowers the Z 1.1 in the rear so something is weird here.Originally Posted by BowWizzel

Double check and make sure the spring is fully seated in the mount. As said above you can also cut the mount in half.

Or you can not run with the rubber mount at all like me!

I'll have to take it apart and double check but I'm pretty sure everything is seated good in there. Mount is probably my next mod.Originally Posted by Massios

Doesn't the spring move around in there without the mount? I mean there's really nothing in there that's holding it in place. Does it make any sounds on bumps of metal hitting against metal?Originally Posted by Th3R3dStar323

in on this thread, planning on buying springs as a first mod. Seems that these springs would provide a better drop in the rear so hopefully you find out its a simple fix.

Back in 05 when i first join g35driver, there was a local member in my area i forgot his name had the same set up as you. I clearly remember his car was slammed, I don't know dude but, something is not rite.

sounds like a good drop but I wouldn't feel safe without that rubber thingy.Originally Posted by Th3R3dStar323

I have seen pics of another g with the same springs and his rear was tucking, beats the heck out of me what could be wrong. Not really rocket science to throw those rear springs in. They just drop in there.Originally Posted by G35SHAWN
