Hey all. Incase you didn't see this in the intro section, im Andy, a new kid on the scene from New Zealand.

I have finally managed to get my hands on a 350gt Skyline (g35). I will be taking the badges off to get rid of the Skyline identity however

Just a bit of a background spill, i have a thing for RWD Nissans. My first car was a 2001 Nissan S15 Silvia (N/A). Sadly this was written off (totalled) at the end of 2012 but i managed to buy it back and fix it back up to road standard

I then went the safe route and bought a 2000 Rs200Z Toyota Altezza (LSD, big brakes, paddle shift etc) but this has only lasted 8 months as i got bored of the Toyota unfortunately.

And now i have got my hands on the 350gt.

(Not my car but almost identical)

It is very factory spec. The windows have been professionally tinted and that is it. Which is just what i was after.
I have a MotorDyne kit lined up locally luckily enough and an intake setup.

Intended changes:

- Darken headlight inners
- 350z struts and 350z lowering springs.
- Spring mount mod
- Hopefully some genuine wheels if the budget allows
- Black roof vinyl wrap

I was hoping to get some coilovers but the price in NZ is just too much at the moment as i am saving to buy a house.

There will be more to add in my build thread.

So yeah... Hi!

Looking good! I just upgraded to 350z/sportline springs, depending on brand might want to seat them first before modifying those mounts. My setup got me really low without modifying them...tucking 20"s at the moment just on springs! Camber kit will be necessary as well!

Solid plans!

Thanks for the info boss. I will be looking at getting a camber kit setup as well. That wont be for a while yet as in NZ you need a certification ($450 nzd) for anything adjustable as such. So if i am to go and do that i think i would be doing a +T setup etc also, all under the one $450 certification.

I have however found some 350z shocks/springs (25xxx kms) and a Z intake for $300nz locally

Last night when walking across the drive i was bugged by the shiny chrome grill...

I have now painted the grill and will be opening the headlights up for painting tomorrow.

Not much of an update at this stage. Fell broke with a fair amount of bills to pay/holidays

I did however manage to get the time to paint the grill and the headlight inners. It looks 100x better.
Figured out i am wanting to get some Vossen CV3's or similar as they work really well with the Diamond Graphite.

Here is a photo from the weekend. A mate and i had some cheeky wee sprints on the way to the holiday home we stayed at over the weekend: (excuse how low quality/over processed the image is)
