Thumbs up vq lover build thread.

Hey got a G but without rear seats,

First things first;

Changed all fluids that are changeable.
-Redline -Amsoil - Eneos

Transmission - 75w90
Differential - Redline 85W90
Engine oil - Eneos
Clutch fluid - Amsoil DOT3/4

Then came the mutch needed stereo upgrade, I am not much of an audiophile but the stock unit didn't even have an ipod or aux outlets,

So I picked up a pioneer AVHX4600BT dvd player w/ backup camera /iphone gps module

First oil change, napa had a sale on some eneos oil, never tried it before, but like Hannibal Lecter said ; "always try new things".

Nasty rear differential magnet....

porter cabled the paint, looks okay.

The infamous interior trim scratches, previous owner must have been a female with long nails? -spray painted with interior trim paint.

painted shifter trim bezel due to severe scratches, used touch up paint can I had from my honda.

stereo removal.

fire hazard? or not. - soldered - wrapped pretty good #hope car doesn't catch fire.

relay bypass so I can watch dvd's/ rear view camera wit the parking brake down.

stock removed.

casino royale with parking ebrake down

threw a code after head unit install, cleared it, seems to be okay - I think i triggered something when messing with the wiring?

battery charged up, need a new one I think.

city mpg, not too bad.

Whoops... Jersey I hear that!

Great looking Z. I just bought one of those China back up cameras and it's supposed to be here in a month. Good to see the camera quality isn't bad. How is it at night though?

Made me laugh!

Better then today in the rain... I couldn't see anything.

Make sure you waterproof it with silicone!
