What molded trunk is this?!
Most all after market trunks don't fit this well so I believe it's a OE trunklid with the lip molded in. Check our Marketplace under vendor exterior, one of our vendors was putting togeather a lip to mold on the factory lid...R1?

Yeah I knew it was molded and wanted to head that route after seeing some poor fitment trunks. I figured out Danny from Slammered (GreenGoblin) did it for him in 2012. Ill definitely be calling the shop since its about an hour drive from me. Thanks guys!
^^^^^^^ This it is a molded lip.... BUT if you hold tight about a month I know Outcast Garage has one very Similar coming out. There is another Vendor who is building one as well. I am on lists for both haha... Whichever comes out looking the most aggressive I will do...
BUT there is nothing like OEM trunks. The one thing I HATE on my Carbon fiber is the 2 12 inch subs bang there is a little rattle. I have 6 layers of dyno mat in there and still haha... I just dont like the buzz.... But o well... OEM tunks are heavier and made of metal (obviously) and dont do that with like 1 layer of sound killer...

Actually aluminum typically weighs about the same as fg trunks with wet layed carbon fiber. CF hoods and trunks dont provide any weight savings (maybe 4-5lbs) and is purely cosmetic. The Seibon TS cf hood actually weighs more than oem. I dont remember trunk specifically, but do remember the HD dunk bill trunk weighed more than oem.
Dry or prepreg carbon weighs alot less, but very expensive and dont think anyone even makes anything like that for the G. Typically only for higher end cars where owners can afford it.
Only thing is I don't want the bill to shoot to far out.. Im not sure how to explain it clearly but what im trying to say is that I don't want a diving board type thing going on because the angle of the lip is too close to 180 degrees…. if you get me
