Well I just bought a 05 coupe and i love it so far. I was looking for something reliable fast and slick and the g35 fit the profile perfectly. A big jump up from my old car, an 02 eclipse. Anyways heres a pic of it and ill post some more soon. Any thoughts on what i should do to it? Any questions?

 

Welcome to Driver Nick! One thing I noticed, your headlights need to be cleaned! Buy the 3-M headlight restore kit and follow the instructions. It's bad enough the first gen headlight weren't bright enough, the way yours look it must be a challenge to drive at night. I'd tint I those windows also.... Would look great with your nice LR coupe. Keep that in mind for your first "mod". I know you'd like it... other than that enjoy that G brotha, looks nice...

and grab a set of 06-07 projector headlights. no use making the ugly headlights halfway decent.

 

This is a good Nick, but don't waste your $ on an ebay set made in China they leak and fill with water. You can find a set of '06 projectors on our Marketplace under Private Classified, they're a "Plug and Play" (easy install) and sell for $600= but worth it!

Slam it. Put wide wheels on it. Slide it around corners on the weekends. Drive it to Orange Julius for some gelatos or cruise meets.

Im definately going to get new head lights, its an automatic sadly so no drifting quite yet. And i live in semi rural alabama so no orange julius lol. Where can i find a meet near me?

 

Phase 1 complete: original headlights restored

Phase 2 will be tomorrow, im getting my windows tinted, 32% on doors, darker on back seat windows and rear windshield, and possibly a 5% strip across the front at the top. Im excited.

 

Phase 2: complete windows tinted to 35% all around except for front windsheild per state tint laws.




I realize thats a terrible picture. More better ones coming soon.
