I do agree that stretching a tire on a wheel that's way too wide is dangerous. I'm suprised that installers even agree to do it at all.
Fair enough. The tired looked so stretched that I assumed it was outside the recommended range. It looks like the tire is peeling right off the rim. I don't understand how that looks good.

Not my thing either, but to each their own. Looks good though. I DD mine and wouldnt think about trying to run those size tires with those wheels.

And as far as better handling Dont think so...He'd end up running on the SIDE of the tire if he pushed it really hard. Where's the traction there?? The tire is going to break free, or have some sidewall flex. I'll take a little sidewall flex.

Does look sick though.

stepped lips coming back?

Your stepped lips look good, I like them and I think that we'll be seeing them on more wheels and I think more people will rockin' them on their cars. Just IMO.

I have seen these rims up close and I compared them to my iforged. Typically, the lip in questioned is rolled and smoothed but some reason on his it is angled and sharp. This came from the manufacturer like that. I perfered rolled but we all have no bearing on that. They look gorgeous in person but I couldn't roll like that everyday. Bueno mi amigo

i had to repost.....
God of Labia

these aren't JDM, but they're fully forged, and not cast. the labia is spectacular. i love JP in general overall because of their VIP style. all stepped labia wheels can have good sizes, but these just PWN them!

no offense robzone, & everyone else with these Scaras.

actully J-lines are very JDM and i actually I considered them first before choosing to go with the JP's, either way, they are excellent choice of wheels for the more open minded G enthusiests who want to have a quality JDM wheel

They are made in Japan as far as I understand. They offer stepped and regular lips on most of the wheels they make but they dont offer a stepped lip on the wheels i got. I like both styles but the flat lip seems to just make it look alot deeper

^ really? when did that happen?? if they're made in japan, that's great! step lip accentuates the wheel style very well.

the standard? right never really liked the stepped lip; makes the lip look half the size; also if you look just at the spokes the wheel looks like a 16!
