Those "things" are life savers in the South Texas heat. You can leave your windows cracked about a half inch and let all the heat out. It really makes a difference.

There are two kinds, the ones like he has that stick on the outside of the window channel, and the kind that stick on the weather stripping of the window. They fit right next to the glass in the groove that the window slips into. That's the kind I prefer, they look a lot cleaner.

These are "in channel" type:

These are mounted on the outside to the door frame:

I didn't know the technical term for them, and I never knew they had a purpose other than blocking the sun for a portion of the window. Thank you for clarifying that for me - I live in San Francisco and it's always the same weather for us year-round.

Come winter, my car will look something similiar to that minus the roof rack as I only go with one other person at most and we can fit everything inside.

Love this pic! Reminds me of how much I want to go skiing and boarding.

Cool! I've been just once to Vermont, and that was to Jay Peak last year, I'd want to go back again; Killington has been on our list for a long time now. Otherwise, I've been many times to Quebec, a few times to BC/Alberta, and the rest of the time I ski in here home in Ontario.

And DG, eh. Give me BS or IP before that. Our 04 was DG. I thought it was kind of blah. Every car seems to be grey or black. Thats why i bought LS!

Mmm, and she looks good in LS too. Yeah, I need some current pics of Mija with her new wheels. I will bathe her right now. IF it doesn't rain I will get some pics of her today also.
