If I'm not mistaken, I believe it runs of a pulley.

Went from this

Back in 08

to this 6MT G Sedan in 2015

to this 05 hardtop 5AT Sedan

Had a Lexus 2GS (both a GS300 and than a GS400) for some years until last summer when the GS400 was totalled.

To this:

Enter G35 #4....

Stock 1 owner 131k miles mint and plan to keep her that way.
If the previous owner is a member of this forum...THANK YOU for keeping this car in such great shape!

Not going to go crazy with mods etc....just some nice basic "make it happy to drive" stuff lol

IF you made it this far through all my rambling....Thanks for listening!
Not sure who's still around but I'm here and willing to help!
Happy 2020 guys.

04.5 G35 Sedan 5AT
My current 2004.5 G35. 165k and going strong. Took this right after I polished and waxed her up. Blackstone oil analysis came in this week, they said its excellent.
This is a 'Basic' trim level car. No packages, cloth interior, no sunroof, standard radio (non-Bose), and manual seats!
Only simple mods and maintenance at this point. Rev-Up intake box, Stillen Z-tube, Z1 intake couplers (stock ones cracked), Z1 slotted rotors, and Akebono ProAct pads. I just got Circuit Sports strut tower brace in last week, as well as Derale 'dual cooler' to build a transmission/power steering cooler.

My former 2005 G35 Sedan. Sold it with 254k miles 6 months ago. Ran great when I sold it. It had all the common problems G's are plagued with. SRS light was on for 3 different codes (one of which I solved by replacing the clock spring), gas gauge didn't work, manual mode worked when it felt like it, burned a healthy amount of oil (blue smoked for a second on cold start a few times). Needed struts, the original Tokico's were shot. Trans slipped into 2nd a few times. Overall, it was still a solid car, and I actually wish I kept it. Now that I finished college I have too much time on my hands!
This car had all options. Navigation, Sport package (w/ vLSD), all leather, power everything. Previous owner was IT for a local bank chain, this was his work car and drove it all over SoCal.

Whoa you have a cloth interior G!
Saw a few of those when we were shopping for our current G but always wondered who had one since they're extremely rare.

She's looking great man.
Something tells me you may do a few more mods
