I dropped my G35 sedan on 350z hotchkiss springs and 350Z struts. The ride is just like stock, but a little firmer. Rides good until u hit something jarring like railroad tracks!! Handles better. VDC kicks in less when taking a curve fast. Camber kit is needed in front and rear.

The front is a little lower than the back, giving the car that aggressive rake to it. The rear will sit lower than front if the gas tank is full and truck has some luggage. NOT BOUNCY AT ALL

The front spoiler doesnt scrape, but the front mud flaps do.

 

Now are these 350Z h-techs?

 

No, they are hotchkiss springs. Not Tein H-techs

 

what do you think about the Tein s-tech for the sedan?

 

I have no idea how the Tein products ride on the G35s.

i have the sedan s-tech. i love the drop 2" front and 1.3 rear..

 

looks better, but i think the front should be just a touch lower to even it out. even the 350z stock springs on the sedan sit lower in the rear.

which 350z struts did you use? revised or unrevised?

 

The car is slammed he doesn't need to go any lower. What you are seeing is the affect of the stock wheels' high offsets. With a set of spacers you'll be able to see the car is slammed. Right now due to the offset of the wheels they are tucked with negative camber pushed them under the fenders. Giving the affect (in pixs only) that theres more wheel gap than there actually is.

Highly recommend going with the SPC front and rear camber kits. Get the Eibach kit (SPC) and save yourself some $$$ over buying directly from SPC. Not sure about the front kit though I brought my front kit directly from SPC. I had the same problem with my front mug guards scraping but I removed them and the car looks much better with out the mud guards, less cluttered.

*Front Springs lower 350Z's approximately 9/16" (15mm). They are 340 lbs/in (Stock is 310lbs/in)
*Rear Springs lower 350Z's approximately 3/4" (19mm). They are 330 lbs/in (Stock is 350 lbs/in)

So add another inch since 350 stock springs drop the car an inch.
