I'd also have to agree that the flat black paint is not helping with the VIP look.

SHOUT TO GARAGE Inc.
EASY fellas! We just put the wheels on this afternoon for fitment and clearance purposes. This is not a VIP BUILD!! The comments about my car not being true VIP are funny.... VIP's are not all supposed to be BIG BODY cars, last I checked on the site VIPSTYLECARS.COM they also had other cars that qualify as VIP ..... such as C class MBZ(euro small), Previas(minivan), 240SX(sport compact)..... etc, etc, etc..... VIP is also not just gloss paint jobs, big body kits, air bags and crazy offset. VIP is a statement delivered through your vehicle. It's a reflection of personality and style. If you look around people are building the majority of VIP cars on HELLAFLUSH looking wheels and offsets and not going crazy on body kits and lip kits..... DUMPED on BIG WHEELS and CLEAN..... So just a FYI, here's the immediate plan for the MATTE BLACK G35 Sedan:

1.Stretch the tires 245/40/20 rear now 275/35/20
225/30/20 front now 245/45/20
2.Garage Inc front lip or GREDDY front bumper
3. Air bags
4.Black out corner lights
5.Tucked exhaust
6.Roof spoiler
7.Garage Inc fender lip flares
8. Black chrome all the chrome trim pieces.

Look out for more on this build..... We are just getting started.

BTW...... this car is being invited to SEMA 2008 and will be attending.... Is yours?..... Peace!

Thanks to sponsors:

I have a few suggestions for this if you don't mind because I do see potential for this.

1.) Paint chrome trim around windows gloss black.
2.) Paint door handles matte black or gloss black.
3.) Get some sort of lip for the front bumper
4.) Ditch the amber turns
5.) Run a thinner profile tire with moderate stretch
6.) Paint wheel face matte black with gloss black lip.
7.) Redo the pinstripe and graphics in twilight blue.
8.) Profit.
Post a pic of your car please..... Thx!! BTW.... this is not a VIP build.... I'm building this car to against the grain... I don't like being like everyone else (mainstream) that's boring. But the comments are well received no doubt... But I'm also proud of the fact that people are excited to see the car at SEMA 2008......

you need to black out the chrome around the windows and door handles.

aye, bro i like it... not my style but can appritiate the work that went into it. yeah, ur right it's not really a VIP build, more of a LUX style ride. .ya kinda mixed a whole lot of styles, clashes a bit(still nice details, apart from eachother). if ur gonna keep the matte black(i think a satin black would be a lot nicer), then you should try some sportier rims. if ur all about those rims & VIP style, then paint ur ride Mayo/Ivory, champagine, merlot or gloss black. you should get the Wald lip kit or the Wise kit(Wald replica)>>>

i was going to say that its not bad for just getting started. if its just an issue about paint job, then i thought it was going to be painted another color.

if the only thing that makes the car look vip are the rims, then i think alot of our cars on here are "vip" also. i have 19s, but even my car has the same look as yours(drop wise). but i guess its bc of your matte paint job, am i right? i guess if i'd take off my front lip, have a good relationship w/ sponsors or garages or anything like that, then i might be invited to sema as well, but then again, maybe not.

i'm not trying to hate or anything. i just dont think its vip, i just think its a vip style you're going for as stated in your op.

well, gl on the build, and like you said, its just getting started.

Just because it is going to SEMA does not make it good looking. I've seen some nasty $hit there before.

i know what you mean tim, its like they just let ppl put their cars there bc it "stands out"...not bc it actually looks good.

but i actually think your car should've already been on a mag or shows or something.
