Finally! LuckyG has...a G!
That's going to be my next purchase I think, is a coupe mid pipe. I want a bit more exhaust note, but I don't want it to be loud, as that was 1/4 of the reason I sold my 240--it drew too much attention from the wrong people, namely the "authorities".
Congrats Lucky on the car!
I'm in the Wildwood/Chesterfield area and just picked up an 2005 G35x Black/Black 5AT. What a long and excruciating process it was. It took me 5 months to finally get one.
I had come inches away from getting one at Bommarito West County, but it sold an hour before I made the offer. Then I made an offer for an 06 at Plaza and the guy told me he would call me back after he talked to his manager. He came back an hour later and said he let someone else test drive it because he thought they would pay more! I got out bid so I lost out on that one.
I called Bommarito that day and asked if they had gotten any in and they had just gotten in a black on black so I put a deposit on it and bought it the next day.(by the way they had a twilight blue one on their lot!)
And now I am in love with it!
I've only had it a week and I already have debadged it, installed clear corners, painted my grill, installed a K&N drop in and I got a free z tube from a friend with a 350z. I have the oem lip, tints scheduled and a spoiler on the way! All that drooling and lurking on this forum, I definitely had my mind made up what I wanted to do to the car! Couldn't be happier.
I had really considered the drive to Chicago. It seems like there are 10x more G35s up there and way better deals too.
Anyway, congrats again and enjoy the new G! By the way have you heard about Thursday nights at Sonic in the Chesterfield Valley?

haha, I actually work at the Circuit City in the Valley, so yes, I'm at the Sonic pretty often.
Were you by chance looking at the IP 05 sedan at Bommarito VW/Honda? That dealership was nothin but a bunch of *insert expletive* suckers.
We'll have to meet up some time brohan!

I work at the Target in the Valley!
No I wasn't looking at a IP. Yeah Bomaritto was only ok. I've already had my problems with them but the guy, Don, was pretty nice and they fixed the curb rash and and paint chip on my car perfectly so I cant complain about that.
I'm in FL right now on vacation and I miss the G badly. I wont be at the next tuner night but I will be at the one after that. I'm usually down with my friends. One has a mazda 6, the other a subaru legacy gt spec b. We should slot our Gs next to each other! There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of love for the sedans down there though.

haha Mines the one in the very back of the CC lot, parked angled, backed in against the curb. Usually there's a couple cars next to me which may include: 1990 Nissan 240sx, 2006 Ford 500, and another 2003 G35sedan. Maybe I'll come park next to you two lol
my friend with the mazda 6 parks across the road in that empty lot. i parked there once but its too far to walk
so i just park next to her now if we are working at the same time. They usually have me working 4/5-close.
Come park by us!

Well I am not a professional, but I am getting there! I am going to the Mizzou Journalism School for photojournalism in a year!
Because photography is my number one passion, I have a lot of equipment we can use (Canon 20D, Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L, Canon 17-40 f/4L, Sigma 180mm f/3.5, Bogen Carbon Fiber tripod with a Markins ball head and RRS plates, Canon BG-E2 grip, Canon 550EX flash and a Canon Remote)
I'd really love to meet your friend the pro. I need some insight into the career and I always love to talk with other photographers!
