Oh my. Before checking out this thread I 99% sure I wanted a kurookie front. Now there is no doubt.

how is the fitment on martys compared to rookie? would i need to take it to a shop to get it "fitted" just wondering.

any "good" shops in san diego that paint and dont charge an arm and a leg?

marty and rookie are the same thing. Marty has just taken over the sales aspect.

Thanks guys! I'm on the fence still about mesh - it looks good on some, others not so much.

southbaygsedan's looks good:


but I'm leaning against black mesh on BS and worried stainless/silver will look bad. Maybe I'll just try it and pull it off if it doesn't work out. That or get an interfooler.

I wouldnt suggest metal (silver) - even with OEM color grill, I think black plastic mesh is a better choice (just my opinion fwiw)... Darren (southbaygsedan), Marcus, myself and several others use automesh... Viet (rookie) got some for us, but I'm not sure they have any left - might want to ask Marty...

BTW, aside from looks, the mesh is a good idea to keep debris out.

*edit - after re-viewing your car, maybe silver would work
