Just noticed the exhaust...what exhaust is that? Looks OEM, is it? If so I guess the 03/04 muffler is different than the 05/06?

Quote: claybar only removes dirt on the surface; he compounds the car with a rotary so the actual paint surface has NO swirls in it whatsoever. My car looks the same way without any wax at all.
Wow that's a good job. Now is that a rubbing compound applied with a rotary buffer?

yea definately; he has all different types of compounds depending on how bad the swirls are, he might also use different pads with a harsher cut.

I wouldn't recommend you learn on your G with a rotary; they can leave nasty marring if you dunno wtf you're doing. Those porter cables work well enough to maintain a car that is mint; but once you have crazy swirls etc, the PC just doesn't cut it.

Nismo: Good on ya for reppin the O.B. so well even after 130 000miles!

I'd have to say that nobody's paint could look any better than mine right now; the same, sure. Better? It's hard to be better than perfect :P

Badass reflections though

goto http://www.gtpaul.com and check out the 50/50 shots... its unbelievable. washing and waxing is awesome and all, but it doesnt correct the swirls in the paint, just fills em in.
