Coupe 19s on!!!

Got my coupe 19s on yesterday. The shop (Radial Tire Co.) was insanely crowded as usual but they did a good job so all is well.
My G being AWD I went with 245/40/19 all around. I am using Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum tires. Not a traditional tire choice for the G crowd but M+S and 600 treadwear rating did it for me. These babies should last just about forever. They are also very quiet, much quieter than the OEM Goodyears. Cost me $985.40 for all four mounted and balanced. I have a set of coupe OEM sized Toyo T1Rs for sale PM if interested...

I also recently installed the Parrot CK3000 Evolution, pretty pleased with it so far except the no-splice harness has been giving me some trouble. Sometimes the passenger front speaker is very quiet and only acts normally when I move the harness around.

Also made a little holster for my Treo. I bought a $2 belt holster off eBay and sanded off the holster and phone clip, then attached with double sided tape. I also modified the holster to let the phone slide in and out easier. It works great and frees up the cupholder where my phone used to sit.

Also a pic of my 4080 enclosure and amp. I wanted to mount the amp on the back of the seat but it is more difficult than I first thought. So for the time being, the amp is screwed into the carpet. Very ghetto but the amp doesn't move at all. I am using the Image Dynamics IDQ12v3 with an Alpine MRP-M850 which sounds great. The OEM HU allows for very little subwoofer control but it's ok for now.

Not enough to be concerned with...

Speedometer Difference: 1.515% too slow
Diameter Difference: 1.5%
Actual Speed:60 mph/100 km/h
Speedometer:59.1 mph/98 km/h

That info is compared to the 215/55/17 tire.

235/45/18 is almost identical specs to 215/55/17... you will be fine.

Very nice! Your car looks almost identical to mine, besides the light interior and front bumper lip. My only suggestion would be to lower it, but do it at your own risk.

What's the risk, besides need an alignment and maybe fender roll? Lots of people have done it.
