Proud new owner of 05 OB 6MT
Hey guys, I just joined the site.
After viewing the site for the past 6 weeks and seeing all these clean cars, I decided to pick up a G. I have always been a Honda guy so this is my first Infiniti. It's an 05 OB 6MT, 63k miles, non-sport suspension and non- bose
but interior is clean and runs like a champ.
Here are a few pics from my camera phone. Will post better pics next week.

So here are a list of mods that I have been thinking. In which order would you guys mod?

I thought it had the sport package also. It has a spoiler but the owner said it didn't have the sport package. Any way to find out if it does? Also I have the reg key no intellegent key

if it's a 6mt it must have the sport pkg, i think. and bose. in Canada the 6mt comes loaded up with the only option being nav. the 6mt pkg is the most expensive G35 model here. is it that different in the US?
where are you located, OP? i'll take your sport 18's when you upgrade if you are near BC...

Congrats on your purchase Johnnyone. That's a lot of miles for an '05 but then the price you paid sounds really good, esp. for a 6MT (hard to find when most of the ones out there are auto tranny).
I know this all depends on your budget and what you consider most important, but for me I would do the following in order: tint, clear corners, springs, wheels and OEM front lip. Tint is almost always a necessity when modding a car, clear corners are reasonably priced (at $35 a set from everythingg35.com or Riverside Infiniti parts site). Lowering springs is the first step in upgrading your suspension, you'd want to get used to the difference in performance feel when installing aftermarket springs. Lots of wheels options out there, it all depends on your taste but then you have to think about if you want to go for a staggered (i.e. different wheel widths front and rear) or non-staggered look (i.e. same wheel width all around). Wheel offsets really make the main difference as far as proper fitment in your car. Finally, the OEM front lip will complete the look once you at least lowered your car but of course the lip is not a mod requirement for everyone. Hope this helps, and make sure you use the search function if you want to research more modding ideas.

thanks for the welcome everyone and many thanks to lexusk8 for the feedback on mods.
As for springs, I am thinking Tein S-tech. Thoughts?
As for wheels, I have read some feedback on TSW wheels and most ppl think they are cheap? Is this still true? It's just tough paying 4g's for some wheels and tires.

Congrats on the car! You most likely have sports tuned suspension pkg because its a 6MT and those are the sport 18s. If you would like to confirm, the stock sport shocks are red.
Congrats buddy... I'm sure you'll love it.
You need not pay like 4G on wheels.. you'll find some awesome deals on wheels (infact many G parts) in the Marketplace section of this site. No other Infiniti sites is as good as this. My .02$
