So I dropped my nismo bumper off to get painted diamond graphite, and the guy (it's a legit shop) took down the paint code from under the hood and went to work. Went back to pick it up, and thought it looked a lil different, but was in a different car and couldn't really compare

When I got home the color was completely different. I think it's desert platinum. He's doing a special for g35driver members, so he probably had a lot of paint lying around and may have used the wrong one

Now I'm going to drop it off again tomorrow, and want to be absolutely 100% sure that I get the right one. I'm gonna leave the car this time, so he can match it up himself. Only question is, is there only one WV2 diamond graphite, or are there subcodes or differences between years? Any input is appreciated. I know my car looks a little darker than other diamond graphite g's I've seen

there should be only one DG (WV2). that top bumper definitely does not look like DG. go back to the shop and ask them to repaint it
