i should buy a low profile aluminum jack and bring it with me to socal. i'll bring it to the meet and we'll all lower our car a little bit more for the photoshoot. or i can just photoshop it, but don't tell the coupe owners ;x
Love it! How do these compare to the BC Racing coils?
Your crazy driving at that height lol.
Pnuts sedan was pretty low. Did you guys roll with him too?

Lol.
Great news guys, the grill is almost done. Looking sick too. I took a picture but it's on my phone that's not activated. If I'm not too lazy I'll upload the pic tonight. All I got left to do is a bit more sanding and bondo in one area. Basically a 15 minute job. Then it needs painting. I'll probably be able to work on it Sunday so it should be done by Monday.

Shots from earlier in the day. Doesn't look wavy or bumpy on the top part. Just a little bit more sanding and it's ready to paint. Woot!

Originally I was using a jumbo popsicle stick, but my cousin gave me the idea of using one of the plastic pieces from the OEM airbox. Since I'm modifiying that, I didn't need a certain piece. There are three long angled pieces about 1" wide.
I used one of those by cutting it to approx height, shoving it between the gap, then traced with a paper one of the other "tabs". I traced it back onto the plastic piece, used a dremel, then added a little resin to hold it in place.
It's not as complicated as I explained, took about 10 minutes total. It was either do something like that or get another grill.

^Thats pretty cool you were able to add that middle tab. Mine looks like I'm missing a couple of front teeth
The other option is to dremel out every other column of tabs to make the gaps between each column even. That is a lot of extra work though.
Thanks man. I look slammed in that photo because the car is on an incline!
When Grant was taking the photo I remember him saying I was going to look pretty slammed, like he used to be. I was on Eibach springs at the time.
