Thumbs up put my Mustang wheels on my G35

I had a flat on the highway and ruined one of my tires on my daily driver G35the other day. Damn 35 series tires I couldn't even tell I had a flat till I got home by then the tire was ruined. So I changed my tire and borrowed one of my new rims/tires from my Stang rather than drive on the donut spare for a day. Surprisingly it fit and the offset of the Stangs front wheels are pretty close. So I got my new tire on and before I put it on the car I threw my other front Saleen wheel on for the hell of it.

I think they look pretty good and these wheels are cheap. These are hypercoated Saleen replicas and cost less than $500 for all 4. Maybe a good option for you guys ????? These wheels are 18X9 with 255/35 tires. A 255 or 245/30 would probably work on these wheels for a G35. I dare not try the Stangs rear 18X10 and 285's on the G though. The 18X10 offset would stick way out.

it's on revised 350z springs I shouldn't have used a flash in the first pic where it lit up the inside of the fender well making it look higher up. Oh plus the car was just jacked up and put down just for these pics I never drove it after putting the wheels on for these pics so the springs hadn't settled back down.

my car normally

Haha, that doesnt look too bad, however it reminds me of my 97svt cobra which had the same wheels in chrome. Those wheels are very popular among mustangs (now) as I know you must know...

Looks good. I was considering packaging a winter set for sale so the brembo equipped guys could have a cheap winter set. 98 17x8 cobra wheels on blizzaks. Clears bbks:

Lol... when I read the title I was thinking the worst but I'm impressed at what they look like on a G. I don't actually mind them.

^^^ +1... I was expecting it to be a disaster - but they look really good!

I'm very surprised they fit though - I figured a domestic car would have totally different size, offset, lug pattern, everything...

Nope. Ford uses the 5x 4.5" bolt pattern. But Ford's hub size and stud sizes are larger(I think about the stud size). Their offsets for their older Mustangs before they went to staggered setups were about 30mm or so.
