the muffler really isn't noticeable from the rear like it appears in the low pics. Also it has never scraped on anything. I know I need Nismo side but all my extra cash is going into my other hot rod now days. So eventually....

This isn't quite related to the OP's set-up (although, I have to admit, it is rather impressive, this is how it should have been originally, would have been a nice predecessor to the 07 G35/G37).

I'm in the process of scoping out muffler tips for the coupe, and I see you bought muffler tips for the OEM coupe muffler. I was wondering what was the inlet size for the tips? 2.5"? 2 and 1/4"? and the length? Was it greater than 4"?

 

me too if money were no object. This set up only cost me a $20 take off muffler

 

sounds MEAN! like the way it sounds, think it'll look better if the muffler is less exposed..nonetheless it's nice!

 

I bet it could go up more if more work was done on the muffler exit pipes. I may do this if I decide to put dual tips on each side more like the M or Maximas tips.
