The Process Begins....
Ok so what do you guys think about this idea.
Never have done any interior work, but I now no longer like the appearance of my interior.....
SO.....
First I was thinking painting the tan pillars a semigloss front and back (black)
Then the same for the larger accents as in shifter plate etc
Also For my double din and center console a matte black carbon fiber. I know I hate carbon fiber a lot too, but paint will chip and it will add some accent to the car.
Finally finish it off with some black suede up top and on the dash?
any opinions?
should be a cheap project I can do at my leisure since this motorcycle carrier I am making is going to be taking a lot of money. booo

I want to get a custom shift boot too. Only if this dirt bike carrier thing was bolt on I would of order a boot today blehhh
I did a shift boot from locksmith and used Duplicolor Vinyl & Fabric Coating in flat black (HVP106) for the center console. http://www.duplicolor.com/products/vinyl.html
I like it because it's nearly impossible to chip, prep is super easy, and if you do mess it up, it's easy to redo. Also super easy to use, me and my friends call it "Idiot Paint" because any idiot can use this stuff and get professional looking results. I need to write up a DIY on how I did it, but I haven't really had the chance. Here's a couple of pics of mine including a closeup of the painted finish.

The little white specks are just dust, not imperfections.

Nah, my cd changer is toast, and I didn't feel like digging out that HU again. Not untill I get my DD with Touchscreen in car PC. Then I'll paint it, and everything shall match!
You'll also notice the shift **** doesn't match, but I'm soon to buy the M45 ****.

dont have 1 but seen his work pretty awesome.
I keep going back-and-forth on that. Prob so, I'm not sure, but I'll ask everyone when I get to that point.
That's funny. I've seen pics of yours and it looks like crap (no offense) I actually thought about seeing if you wanted to buy mine. Guess that answers that!
^Because I didn't know you were doing the MOMO, and mine is in much better condition.
Just considering it as one of those "eh, it's worth a shot" kinda things.
Did you do a shiftboot as well? I forgot.

No love for the golf club? Comeon, you guys don't like yelling "FORE" everytime you shift? Yeah I don't like it either, that's why I want this:
