I'm going to put everything back on the car and see how it blends. If the orange peel is noticeable then I'm going to sand lightly and spray and fade it in to the rest of the car. The primer I used was really thick and created some orange peel.

I just finished looking through all 86 pages. Your work is great. Have you been learning as you go along or do you have prior automotive experience?

Some serious reading! ^ From the start I knew next to nothing about cars . I grew up on dirt bikes, but never got my hands into cars until I started this project. So no. no automotive experience at all really.

Here we go no life....

First the paint was too orangy and the color didn't even get close to match.

So I threw on a heavy coat in the rear so I could sand it down and get it even.

Then the sanding started

Just an average day

Ended up pretty smooth . I have no clue what it will look like now after I coat the car. should be interesting

Rustoleum ftw....

Lol jk.... I tip my hat to doing a DIY paint job. First time you had done it when I saw it at the sedan gtg it looked awesome.

Why a coupe Y pipe? It's the same as our sedan's unless you're talking g37 coupe
