My new G

Got it about a month ago and finally clayed it along with my buddies 5.0. I know the pictures are terrible but oh well, I'll get better ones soon. Low light and no tripod on this camera was no good.

I'm not too sure, they were on there when I got the car. Some sort of a flexible aluminum strip that they glued on. I'll probably take them off, but I'm not too sure. I'll get a better picture of the front, because there are strips on the lower part of the wipers, and one right above the grille too which looks pretty interesting.

Dude, yea take it off. It looks like whoever put them on was going for some sort of ghetto fab VIP look. But the strips just look super tacky.

Take it off and the first thing you should do is get a nismo front, looks sick in CB.

Yeah for sure, I'm just worried about cleaning the crap under them haha. Oh well, it'll be worth it, cleaner look. Yeah, I really want the whole nismo kit. Just the money issue... haha.

Thanks man! I really love the car, it's incredible. I really want to get the nismo kit, but wow, the price. Oh well, I'll save for it eventually. Here are a couple better pics.

Oh me neither. I really don't know what kind of theme I want to take on with it. I thought about going with black as a secondary color, but I think it's just too dark for that blue. So I might go with silver wheels and a silver emblemless grill, or maybe even gunmetal for the pair? I would prefer to go without having to deal with my chrome window trim and door handles... Regardless, the nismo kit is first, and I'd like to get a stillen roof spoiler as well. I'll be debadging the back except for the mt. fuji soon, and taking all that silver striping off. I really want to get a 3.5 rear end with lsd as well. A little extra acceleration couldn't hurt, and this things traction in the rain and out of corners is just abysmal. I can't stand one wheel drive. Then I'd like to drop it and figure out some sort of a wheel, not too sure what yet, maybe an hp evo? nineteens I think. And as far as suspension, handling is by far the most important thing that I'm looking for. The windows are tinted which is nice. I want to go coupe mid, hr y, and hks rear section for exhaust, jwt with a z tube for intake, osiris tune, and eventually I'll travel down to socal for a grounding kit I think. Oh, and a plenum spacer of course. Lots of plans and limited funds haha. I also plan to go dd for the stereo and most likely build a custom enclosure for two twelves in the back. maybe two tens..

Nice and congrats.

Make sure to take off those silver stripes and get clear corners ASAP (~$35).
Good luck modding!

Oh and one more thing, modding never stops. Don't fight it.

Looks like you have a good list on your future mods.. I agree with j 4 ID, modding never stops BUT you CAN take it slow.. lol. I will pull of a silver theme with your color.

Gunmetal will be a awkward color on your car, not a good contrast.
Black, well everyone got black.. lol (It looks good on anything).
Silver with a bit of body color will be a good theme. Good luck!

It actually has clear corners, you just can't tell because the bulbs are on. And yeah, I definitely agree. I think silver is the way to go. I'll plan on pulling those strips, debadging and searching out a wrecking yard grill soon...
