My dad's 2003 has the optional 5-spoke 17" wheels. He was never very good about washing the car and keeping brake dust off the wheels...so they're now ruined.

For Father's Day I ordered him a new set of wheels. He let me pick something out as long as it wasn't insane price-wise.

Snagged these MB Motoring "Weapon" wheels in 17x8, gunmetal color. About $135/wheel at Discount Tire. Not too concerned about weight or anything since he just DDs the car.

His old wheels will be relegated to dedicated snow tires. I'll likely strip the paint and refinish them anyways.

der nice but 17 is just too small for me, those are going to look smaller than the stock ones because the stock spokes go out all the way to the edge of the rim and these dont. Nice wheel though.

 

Agreed, but he doesn't want to get new tires or anything. He's just looking for something new and different.
