Looks great, I have to take mine out to paint mine black too since they are that marble paint from before. I may as well make the leap too.

What other mods can I copy haha.

Nice mod Aaron,

I wonder how the DIY will affect my current aftermarket stereo controls if I decide to go this route...

You will have to reprogram the pac unit.....thats what I had to do.....but that may not be due to me having to switch the controls out, but rather, I unplugged the battery during the install.

do itt! man it wont look tacky, if anything is tacky is the ugly oem brownish beige that they put in the interior. The only thing i have left to paint is the sorround for the clock above the dash and the shift **** but if the shift **** starts to peel i'm buying an aftermarket shift ****, in some of the pics especially the last one you can compare the gunmetal with the stock color that surrounds the clock.

Here's the pix..

it looks better on willow but on my graphite interior the black contrast is pretty okay. But man, it hurts me a lil everytime I see the metra kit, those buttons really do the interior of the G no justice.

note: these pictures were taken before the actual steering wheel switch upgrade.
