I wanna go lower on my front like an extra 1/2 inch. In currently on z-suspension and was looking to get Tein H Techs... for the higher drop in the front.
I have coupe springs in the front and sedan sports in the rear. Mine's an X so that lowered me 1" in the front and .5" in the rear.

Sedan H Techs would give you a nice drop that wasn't too crazy. I think they are around 1.4" in the front and .7" in the rear on a RWD.

I think they are the perfect size for an 18x8" wheel and they are the same diameter as stock so I can use my fullsize 17" spare without worrying about it throwing anything off.

The biggest drawback is tire selection. There are really only 2-3 all-seasons I would consider in that size. I didn't look at summer tires, but I don't think there are very many options there either.

x2. I had 245/40/18s all around when I had them. On S-techs and never rubbed.

I got 245/45/18s all around, no rubbing issue at all. Even with a fully loaded car.

Plus the offsets on sedan sports are +45 compared to +30 on coupes. Not really a good comparison unless he has spacers.

so running 235/45 tires made the handling worst then stock? Are you lowered by any chance?

im not lowered, i had bought the car with 235/35s. The handling honestly feels worse with these taller tires. Theres a lot more body roll and lean. Im definately switching back after these wear.

I think he was referring to the 235/45's he has now as being taller and having worse handling than the tires that came on the car when he bought it.

The 235/35's might give slightly better handling, but they are way too small in my opinion. They are 2" smaller in diamater than stock and would throw off your speedometer by over 7%.

In my opinion, if you want tires with sidewalls that short you need at least 19" wheels.
