hey car looks hot on those coilovers!!
Got couple of questions about the coilovers. hope you can help.
1. How would you adjust the drop? How would you know if the height is level?
2. what does that mean when you say 5 from soft? Is that the control of the stiffness of the struts?
3, how long would the struts last compared to the oem struts?

thanks

1. How would you adjust the drop? How would you know if the height is level? Tools come with the set, you just crank away. Getting the height level is the toughest part, had to go back and forth, putting the wheels on and taking them off before i can get them perfect
2. what does that mean when you say 5 from soft? Is that the control of the stiffness of the struts? Yes, there are 32 levels from soft to stiff.
3, how long would the struts last compared to the oem struts? These will last me a long long time. OEMs give out after 50k or so if youre dropped low enough.

thanks
Tried to answer your questions above..

They will blame any tranny problems on that whole not being there. Even if it had absolutely nothing to do with the problem they will still blame it on that. All the dealers are like that it's brutal.

I dunno maybe not, but in my experience with dealers and warranty work they always find the smallest way to get out of it. Not experience with Nissans though...

having worked for a couple dealerships in the past, i would have to disagree. Very few will notice such a difference as they really don't care/pay that much attention to detail as people do on this forum. And quite frankly the only people that will notice are the sedan owners.

Yes you have a valid point about them being able to reject his warranty but they need to provide proof. Ultimately is not Nissan who says no its dealerships. And he can play dumb as say that's how i bought it from you guys.

I'm sure a lot of body shops have done the mistake in the past. Plus the whole transmission is pretty much out in the open to begin with.

I've worked along techs that know nothing about the cars they are working on.
