do you mean adding pearls to the cleat coat?
i vote for keeping the same color. Maybe if you had DG, black or white, but like someone else stated, almost noone has a modded TB sedan so i say keep it, looks sick!

pretty much decided on keeping the color. im jus going to add some pearls to the paint to make it unique.
Pearl ftw....i wanna repaint down the line but honestly i like IP. And if I do a color change I'd want something that's different...don't wanna do a dark color cos rock chips will stand out. I was thinkin of doing more pearl as well.
Like I mentioned before...TB looks really nice on ur car man

No not to the clear. Same principal as IP (solid white base, pearl coat then clear). So your formula would be your TB color as a base, then a pearl coat then the clear. 3 steps to get the final result
You would have to make test panels to see what the final result would be. Its just another way to get a different result.
The R34 blue skyline and the midnight purple R34 skyline are both examples of 3 stage paints for reference.

I saw a coupe in the media section in the coupe forum painted smoky granite mica (from lexus) really nice color. I also like the blue in the R34 skyline. Check Papa's whole thread about color change for reference in different colors if you haven't
