History of my 2003.0 G35 Sedan, in true nerd style.
Vroom vroom!!
Sweet! What did you get?
I've been trying to talk my cousin into buying a better one for his Z so I can have his 3.5:1 VLSD

^The final drive ratio of mine and chris' cars is 3.3 to 1 and an "open diff" aka "one-wheel-wonder"
The one Chris is getting (and the one I want) is a 3.5 to 1 so it's a little 'quicker' ratio. Gives the car a little more kick off the line, and only bumps a tiny amount off the top speed (of 150... who needs to go 150???)
It's also a limited-slip differential, so it puts power much more evenly to both rear tires, instead of burning it all off on one.

^They're harder to come by... I would probably like the 3.7, but since my cousin actually does plan on upgrading his, I'll just get it.
Besides, what I'm mainly after is the LSD, I care more about that than the ratio.

How difficult of an install is it? It probably voids the warranty too, right?
^Warranty? We don't need no stinkin warranty!
IDK how hard the install is, I would probably DIY though, can't be any worse than an engine swap on a trans-am, and I've done that.
One of my friends did a rear end swap on his Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS all by himself.
