License plate - ok fine, I understand...
Also for your identification when something goes wrong "OMG my white G35 was stolen" good luck
Like I said, I understand this one, it's fine with me.

And one on the front too - (grrrr) Ok, if I have to...
Stupid law but has it's reasons..
Name one.

And every year you must bring your car in so we can decide if it's good enough for you, the owner, to actually use - Wait what now?
Not good enough for you, but to make sure it's not going to lose a wheel and swerve into oncoming traffic killing the beatles, a bus of orphans and viet nam war vets.
I'm mostly hating on states that go overboard with their inspections, sticking a 'sniffer' in the exhaust, giving you grief over mods, clear corners, etc... besides who needs The Beatles?

AND you have to put this big dumb sticker on one of your windows that says we've decided your car is good enough - Now hold on a sec...
How big is this sticker? Can't be that bad
IDK about other states, but in LA it's 4" square, looks very tacky, and goes right on the winshield

AND you can only put parts on your car that we decide it's ok - Why are you still calling it my car?
You bought it didn't you? What parts are you referring to?
C.A.R.B.

AND you can't have a dark color car because they're bad for the earth -
That's the dumbest **** ever, does florida have that law? I thought just Cali.
It is just Cali, well, it was just Cali. The law never passed (good thing too!)

AND you have to have this GPS unit so we can always know where you are and if you're speeding - Ok this is a joke right?
Conspiracy
Bwaahahaha. Hey, while we're on the subject of Conspiracy... Did you know the government owns over 60% of GM and OnStar can tell GM the speed and location of your car at any time without you giving it permission... anyone else smell conspiracy?

No comrade, this is no joke.

Front plates are a communist system. It is a joke that some states need them and others dont. Same with tint laws and all that crap. Make it universal.

^ I would tend to agree with you, except I can think of examples before where everything was 'made universal' and they pick the worst possible option to make universal... need I mention the 55MPH national speed limit?
I'm affraid if that happened, we would all end up being required to have front plates, california emissions, no tint on the front windows, etc...

tint law is for the safety of officers... plate is for easier identification (camera ticket, stolen vehicle, etc)... these things are more necessary in some states than others.

I can tell you for a fact that the chance of getting your @ss shot walking up to a car in parts of Los Angeles are a lot greater than any place in MN or ND – if you can’t see in the car at 2:00am on a street in South Central, you are phucked.

Front plates are dumb. But camera tickets are just pure evil. I get what you're saying about the tint too, but at the same time, there are plenty of places in FL where an officer dare not approach a vehicle he can't see in, yet FL allows much darker tint than most states. Yet central states where it would be less of a problem allow almost no tint at all
Also, 30% (Leagal in FL) really isn't all that dark.
Wouldn't be much of a problem if known drug trafficers were shot on sight anyway... wait, did I just go on a tangent?

Plus, while I've got them appart, they're getting the flat black treatment and a HID projector mod

I keep going back-and-forth on whether I'm going to do the headlights or lip spoiler next.

Probably headlights.

.... no probably lip spoiler

Headlights are a great mod though, the coolness-money ratio is through the roof!

^ Thanks!

Absolutely you should start your own thread. Not only is it fun to share, it's also handy to be able to check out other peoples 'progression' threads to get ideas. Plus it's fun to go back and look at your own thread later on and go: 'wow, I can't believe it's come so far!'

ahhhwww sheeeett... I think you may have blown it dude... you would have been better off acting like you forgot - but now that you admitted to knowing and didn't get her anything she may do something crazy next time you drive her... I mean, you dont want a ticket (or worse)

I suggest you get her a new pair of shoes or something man...
