when some guy was using pics of my wheels on Craigslist, i just emailed them and they had the post removed in 30min

 

Ok so...

A little while ago, I get a PM from luisp88 telling me he saw an ad on Craigslist that looks a lot like my car, with a link to the ad... so I go check it out....




First thought: "Oh you have got to be ******* kidding me"

So I call the douchecanoe up:

"Hey, I was calling to get some more information on the G"

"huh?"

"The G35 you have listed on craiglist?"

"Oh yeah, what you want to know?"

"How's it run?"

"good"

"So, what kinda mods you got done to it?"

At this point, dumbass just basically reads the craigslist ad
...gets to the part about the 2007 bumper...

"Uh, you know you can't fit a 2007 rear on a 2003, right?"

"Well I did" (somewhat emphatic)

"Well I happen to know for a fact you can't... now you mind telling me what you're doing with a pic of my car?"

"Huh?"

"Why are you using a picture of my car?" (Firm tone)

"Cause I wanted to"

"Well that's my picture, I took that picture."

"Well mine looks just like it, so I don't know what to tell you"

"I didn't give you permission to use it, that's copyright infringement, so you better take that ad down right now, and I had better not catch you using one of my pics ever again."

"ok"


If this assclown tries this again, I'll freaking crucify him

2. Finally shaved door moldings on the left

3. Different trunk. No more doggy door

4. Maybe the mudguards are new, not sure.

Thanks. It does fit pretty well. I sanded it down to size.
The only place it has an issue (which you can kinda tell in the pic) is that the passenger side bottom corner is sunk in just a little more than the other side, and the gap isn't quite even on the both sides on the back (though it is on the top)

Fits well enough I can live with it, that's for sure. And there's plenty of OEM trunks that don't fit right I've noticed.

Yeah, I've wanted 05/06 tails for a long time. Still spending money on more important things right now.

 

Oh no I was so close haha. I thought I was cool for noticing the door moldings though.

I know you said you didn't want to do this a while back but you should think about color matching the clear corners to the bumper. It would look so good on your car and I'm sure it wouldn't cost too much

Also, the black mirrors look so sick now with the black window trim!
