Nice work. It's really coming along. I'm a big fan of how the black roof looks on the G and agree with the above. If you don't want to have painted, they make vinyl overlays you could always try. I too would lose the foglights, were they w/ the car when you bought it or did you install them? Car is looking great!

i wouldnt do the tails simply because if you get rear ended by anyone with half a brain all they have to do is say that you've altered your lights and they couldn't see your lights, and you wouldn't get a dime.

as for the headlights, i did them their dead easy, probably the worst part is the waiting in between coats and getting the actual housings apart... you really need two people.

when you get a bit of money, if you're still feeling like you want to do something on the front end, maybe look at the nismo kit? i got the vis nismo, the fitment was really good, and it was cheap too(relatively). it sits a bit lower than stock but doesnt hang down like a plow like the rookie design, so i dont need to worry about snow flexing my paint.

RE:Some New Pics

I'm familiar with the nizmo aero kit. I have it on my other G35x. My son now has that car. I would just get a new front bumper. Maybe I'll do it in the spring. Tail light issue is a good one. May be better not to smoke them, or only do it lightly?

me personally, id just play it safe and not touch them at all... that or look into molding the cat ears... a lot of work but imho well worth it! ocg35 did it and i think the results were fairly decent, although i think that a better idea would have been to mold in some FX taillights.

Get overlays the light shines right thru, or you can tint em and leave the leds untinted. You don't need a new bumper get the stillen lol

I hope that "lol" is at the stillen because its hideous. Since the OP already painted his sides, all he needs is a nismo front, and maybe a rear if he wants to. The rear looks nice but its not as necessary as the front. Thats what id do anyway. Everything else looks great.

Bat stuff

Yep, I'm not interested in the Stillen. If I get something I think it'd be the nismo aero front bumper. The bat overlays look great, but what about install. I don't have the first idea how to do it, and from what I can tell it takes someone who has some idea what they're doing. Where am I going to find a place to install it in Massachusetts?

Almost any tint shop or custom shop can install the overlays

I just saw on the net that there are some people who didn't have a very good experience with "joe" tint shop installing them. Here in Central Massachusetts there appears to be one custom shop that seems to have some experience with G's and that did some work for me that came out well. So I'd probably see what they had to say.

Looks great except for those autozone $40 foglights in there.

All I see is one of those sets of fake hillbilly teeth when I see this:

If I'm going to ditch the fogs. I probably want to just put a new front bumper on. The new bumper can't be riding too low. Any suggestions for a new number?
