I think he didnt install it right because it sags below the black....that or it's the lip.

@ 4DGS..nah no CF for me, i'm gonna paint it OB but i don't know if i'm gonna get it painted and put on in the winter or in the spring. I need to get my hood fixed and painted asap cuz it still ahas a dent in the front. So i might get the lip done at the same time, or i don't know if i should just wait and get the aftermarket hood that's coming out which obviously would make a bigger hole on my wallet. The shop is charging me 300 to fix the dent on the hood and repaint it.
@ GSEDAN. I guess i'll have to wait and see how mine looks when i get it installed. Hopefully there wont be any gaps

As far as fitament goes it fits perfectly. i installed it myself so it hangs a little under the front sill to give it a little lower effect. but you can but it right up to the sill.

yes i like it better than the nismo, its $100 you cant go wrong

the picture of the black g35 with the lip from ebay, that lip is painted. if your order it the lip is going to look like a plastic black so i painted it flat black.

I bought my headlights from a user off ebay, but picked them up in la puente for $113 cause shipping was an extra $60 on them, but the only down side is the stock HID's did not fit so i have to order some after market ones.

Future mods to come:
HID for low beam (8000k) and high beam/fog (3000k)
vinyle roof gloss black
ebay m3 lip spoiler
lamin-x tail lights (i want to upgrade to 05' taillights but cant find any.. anyone know where?)
either a greddy evo 2 muffler or JDM HKS ti-c (i already have a coupe midpipe)
lowering springs eventually

 

I would do the roof flat black to go with ur theme instead of gloss. You can find the 05 tails on ebay, type g35 sedan tail light. Usually you have to buy the right and the left on separate auctions but it comes out to about 320 total.

 

How is the fitment on the eBay headlights? (apart from the HID thing obviously)

idk im just not a fan of the 03/04 stock front at all, no matter what you do to it :/ . needs the sills painted but the headlights look good. you should do an emblem delete too for the grille .

(second instert of the requisite "drop that biznatch" comment).

 

I'd paint it and your sides. The black clashes IMO.

Looks alright though.

 

If you want to be different from everyone else, you could paint the splitter, sides, grille and maybe even roof and headlight housings the same charcoal color as your wheels. Then paint the emblem BS.

 

To each his own. If it were my car:

1) Body colored lip and lowers
2) Chrome front emblem (all black makes it look like the chrome emblem fell off)
3) Slight drop

 

ya maybe i will go with a flatblack.. kinda need to see comparison pic first.

the fitment of the head lights is perfect, all the holes line and and fits in flush. and the new lenses make it look so much better, vs my old lenses which were a bit faded.

im about to wash my car when i do ill take pictures on a flat surface and post them.

but as far as clearence height goes its about the same size of a can of soup or something.

I wanted to go embelemless but it was a little to much work and i diddnt want it to look stupid. but in the beginning i left the emblem chrome but it just diddnt really flow well with the car.

$320 for tail lights! damn.. might be worth it tho.. i love the way they look... especially smoked
