I think you'll be fine up front. I had 20x8.5+35 with no issues. Granted you are .5" lower, but if your wheel isn't rubbing now, then it won't be once you lay her on the ground. Tires don't stick out that much more plus they will be higher on the arm, which you can see has more space available.

Your pictures are starting to make me worry about my setup though. I have 20x9.0+36 that I'm about to throw on my car. I wonder if that 1/2" inside will be a deal breaker or not. I wasn't worried about the front at all until I saw this post. My rears on the ones I'm worried about. I'll find out tomorrow.

Yeah i could stick my finger between the wheels and it was snug. It's going to be close....maybe a spacer would be your best bet if it doesn't work out.

Good luck man!

You'll be fine. I'm at 20x9 +30 in the front, no problems.

btw if you're going up in size 1/2 inch, you are only adding a 1/4 inch to the inside (the other 1/4 to the outside). And since you are 1mm higher in offset, your wheels are essentially 1/4 inch + 1mm closer to the suspension arm than he is. However, you're going to be 20 inches, so it's higher up in the suspension arm than 19's are. Either way, like I said, you will be fine.

^ G Sedan that's what I was thinking, but you know how it is when you get anxious. Just seeing his pics made me worry even though I know that I'm a 1/2" higher in the arm.

damn Jeff! Perfect! Winnings have been one of my all time favorite wheels. Very nice! I'm going to love seeing them when you come for a detail this spring! I'd suggest a more aggressive drop with them volks though. It'll really set them off perfectly. Once you get the tires mounted, hit me up. We'll go for a cruise in your g and my m3!

Thanks!
I think eventually I need to get them repainted an repolished. I polished the lips as best as I could by hand. I guess I could take them apart to machine polish them but I don't know the torque specs or if I have to reseal them (doens't look like it with this design). I'll probably just rock them for a season as is and see how it goes.
See ya in the Spring Chris.

yeah I hear ya. I'll be sure to polish up them during the detail. I got some special polish for wheels. they look great none the less. BTW, your will clear just fine when the tires are mounted. You'll be surprised how much more clearance you'll have once they are mounted and the car is on the ground. Go with 245/35 and 275/30 and you'll be set.
